Glug MasterPrivacy policy
Glug Master is a puzzle game for Android made by an independent developer ("we"). This policy explains what information the game uses. The short version: we don’t run accounts, servers or analytics, and we never see your personal data. The only outside services in the game are Google’s ads (which you choose to watch), Google Play’s payments, and optional Google Play Games sign-in for cloud save.
What stays on your phone
Your progress (levels, stars, coins, hints, settings and daily puzzle streak) is saved only on your device. It is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
Optional sign-in and cloud save
You can choose to sign in with Google Play Games from Settings, so your progress can move with you to a new phone. Signing in is never required. If you do, Google Play Games gives the game your Play Games player ID and display name, and the game saves a copy of your progress (the same items listed above) to your own Google account using Play Games saved games. We have no server and never receive this data. You can sign out from Settings, and delete the saved copy and your Play Games data from the Play Games app or your Google Account at any time. Ads
The game shows an ad only when you tap a button to watch one for a reward. These ads come from Google AdMob. To show an ad, and to prevent ad fraud, Google may collect:
- your device's advertising ID,
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- basic device information (model, operating system, language),
- how you interact with the ads.
Google processes this information under its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not receive it.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your phone's settings (Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads).
If you buy Remove ads, no ads are requested at all.
Purchases
The optional Remove ads purchase is handled by Google Play. Google processes your payment details; we only learn that the purchase was made, so the game can unlock it on your phone. See the Google Privacy Policy.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or location.
- We don't use analytics, crash reporting or other tracking tools.
- We never sell your data. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google’s ad, Play Games and payment services handle, as described above.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and delete them when the conversation is over.
Children
Glug Master is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete, except any email you sent us. For data collected by Google's ad service, see Google's policy above or use your phone's ad settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
